28th PACIBER Annual Meeting

The PACIBER 2016 Annual Meeting, themed “The Changing World: Evolving Global Economic Trends and Management Education”, will be held at the Hilton Waikoloa Village, commencing with the opening reception on July 7 and concluding with the closing lunch on July 10.
Hotel Information: Hilton Waikoloa Village is an oceanfront resort consisting of three towers (Ocean, Palace and Lagoon) interconnected via tram and boat. It is a self contained resort with three swimming pools, 17 restaurants, and other resort facilities. The PACIBER rate for a resort view, single occupancy room is $189 plus a $15 mandatory resort fee (discounted from $30), inclusive of breakfast buffet - the net total is $232, with $50++ per additional person. Pricing on upgraded category rooms will be made available shortly. Reservations will be made online via the Hilton website with our PACIBER group reservation code, made available to you in a few weeks.
Registration: Meeting registration will remain at $350.
Flight Information: Waikoloa is located on the Big Island of Hawaii. You would fly into the Kona (KOA) International Airport, which is serviced by Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines for US mainland connections, and WestJet for the only international flight (Vancouver). Many flights connect through Honolulu (HNL) International Airport via Hawaiian Airlines, the major inter-island carrier.
Ground Information: Hilton Waikoloa Village is situated 19 miles (30km) north of Kona International Airport, a 30-40 minute drive. SpeediShuttle offers shared rides of $53 between the airport and hotel, only $2 more per additional passenger, up to 5.

PACIBER representatives gather every year in a city where a member school is located to receive updates on current international business issues, discuss curriculum development, and present new initatives for the consortium. Research panels and keynote speeches are also part of the program.
The program begins with an opening reception followed by two and a half full days of activities and concludes over lunch.
